Thermoelectric coolers from the new 1MA10 Series are the fusion of the most advanced manufacturing technologies. The main and very crucial advantage is in solid Aluminium plates instead of traditional ceramics. All 1MA10 thermoelectric coolers have bare metal, Aluminium plates instead of ceramics.  Aluminium instead of ceramics is the key innovative approach in TEC manufacturing with entirely new horizons opened. Aluminium is easy to machine, it has much better thermal conductivity than ceramics, and it matches ideally by CTE with Aluminium heatsinks - simply perfect combination for any applications with long-term temperature cycling.  


1MA10 TECs have the unique combination of classical bulk thermoelectric coolers technology with advanced high-density (HD) pellets placement. This combination allows reaching a 30W/cm2 cooling power density and creating 4x times smaller TEC solutions without compromises in cooling performance. More than 100W of TEC cooling capacity (Qmax) is possible now on just 20x20mm2 size instead of traditional 40x40mm2  or 50x50mm2.

1MA10 Aluminium Thermoelectric Coolers

1MA10 TECs are qualified and tested to real 1M temperature cycles with a median projection of at least 1.5M of operating cycles (using max 5% ACR change as a criterion of failure). The combination of innovative elastic adhesive mounting and traditional soldering in TEC assembly prevents the thermoelectric cooler's internal thermomechanical stresses.   It's a perfect solution for PCR cycling and DNA analysis applications. Advanced TEC cooling power, bold construction with metal plates and ultra-high cycling endurance make new 1MA10 TECs optimal for any long-term temperature cycling equipment design, especially laser and optoelectronics reliability testing and qualification equipment.


Aluminium is easy to machine, thus TEC cold and hot sides can be modified and adjusted in entirely new way, not possible with traditional ceramics.  TEC surfaces machinning, milling, mounting screws and even the complete 3D profiling are possible.  Metal plates can be adjusted even for non-flat surfaces cooling.


1MA10 thermoelectric coolers are assembled using RoHS compliant Sn-Sb solder with a melting temperature Tmelt=230ºC and innovative elastic adhesive.  Short-time processsing up to 220ºC is possible.  1MA10 The standard and most common types from our 1MA10 Series with detailed datasheets are listed in the table below with .  Additional information, TEC drawings, 3D models, performance plots and estimations for particular application conditions can be provided by request.
