HFx Series Heat Flux Sensors

Heat Flux Sensors of HFx series – the series of thermoelectric ultra-high sensitive and self-calibrating miniature heat flux sensors for conductive, convective and radiation heat fluxes. HFx Series Sensors are developed as a series of a range of sizes: 4x4, 6x6, 8x8, 10x10, 12x12 and 14x14 mm2. Optional dimensions (size and thickness) as well as customized performance parameters are available on request. HFx Heat Flux Sensors were developed for measurement of conductive, convective and radiation heat fluxes in a wide range of heat flux intensities. The high sensitivity of the Sensors of the series provides accurate experiments and data on objects of investigations.

One of the key features of HFx Sensors is the self-calibration method. It means the possibility to calibrate  the Sensor precisely by measurement of its thermoelectric parameters. Thus, it is not necessary to dismount the sensor and send it to labs. The abbility of self-calibration method removes all the typical limitations with HTx Sensors mounting in final application.

The calibration procedure is possible with use of TEC Microsystems Datalogger (DX8140), specially developed for thermoelectric Heat Flux Sensors, or by use of Z-meters.

Thermoelectric Heat Flux Sensors of HTx series

Thermoelectric Heat Flux Sensors of HTx series – the series of ultra-high sensitive and self-calibrating Sensors with integrated Pt1000 thermistors. The Sensors are developed as a series of a range of sizes with diameters 12, 14, 16, 20, 25, 30 and 40mm. Optional dimensions (size and thickness) as well as customized performance parameters are available by request.

Heat Flux Sensors of HRx series – the series of high sensitive and self- calibrating miniature sensors for radiation heat fluxes. The Sensors are developed as a series of sizes: 4x4 and 6x6 mm2. HRx Sensors have wireless package of SMD style, suitable for SMD mounting by flip-chip method.

SMT Thermoelectric Heat Flux Sensors of HRx series

The Heat Flux Sensors of the HFx series – the series of high sensitive and self-calibrating miniature Sensors. The Sensors were developed for measurement of conductive, convective and radiation heat fluxes in a wide range of intensities.

The Sensors have a square shape. Electric connections come from the parts by a miniature FEP Flat Ribbon Cable (0.025” Pitch, 32 AWG). The standard length is 180 cm (6”). The cable output is ended by a six-pin miniature connector of the type DFMC 0,5/ 6- ST-2,54 (Phoenix). Both sides of the Sensors are ceramics (AlN) covered with black paint stable for working in wet ambient and even under water.

Internal ambient of the Sensor is potted by a silicon compound of high temperature stability.
